In early 2023, I shifted the focus of my business and now work as an audio consultant, providing specialist support where it's needed most – helping retailers with their turntable departments and related products. Sales are handled through the retailers and suppliers I collaborate with, either by contacting me directly or dealing with the retailer. Feel free to get in touch!
Private customers are also welcome to get in touch if you feel your system could benefit from an extra pair of experienced ears to help optimise its performance. This can involve anything from checking and fine-tuning the setup of your turntable, tonearm and cartridge to optimising the rest of your system, including speaker placement, cable routing and the positioning of other equipment. I'm also happy to bring along isolation feet and similar accessories to help control unwanted vibrations and resonances in your equipment. It's fascinating to hear just how much difference these can make to the sound. Another area I particularly enjoy demonstrating is cables and power-related products. With so many options available, it can be difficult to know what to choose. Together, we'll find the products that best suit your system and identify where improvements will make the greatest difference to sound quality.
In addition to relying on my ears, eyes and more than twenty years of experience in cartridge alignment and adjustment, I also frequently use the analysis software AnalogMagik V2 to optimise the setup of the entire vinyl playback system.
